    Description

A fragrant fable of luminous fresh, citrus, green notes that come together in hushed conversation to evoke the radiant refrain of dawn.
Tacit Truths is an intimation of morning’s first light, conjured by Yuzu, Vetiver and Fennel. A fable about trust told through scent, its bright citrus notes are tempered by the calming character of Basil, lending a sense of quiet intimacy.

All of this is contained in a newly redesigned bottle with an embossed Aesop insignia, and a pleasingly textured cap inspired by basalt—a rock on which our hometown of Melbourne was quite literally built.
    Aroma: Fresh, citrus, green
Suited to: All genders; trusted confidants, early risers, sunseekers
Key characteristics: Basil | First Light Accord

    Packaging and recycling

Many of our product packaging components are recyclable. We recommend disassembling (in this case removing the atomiser and cap) and sorting the components. The bottle may be recycled, while the atomiser and cap should be placed in the waste bin. Paper packaging is made from FSC® certified stock and can be recycled.

    What's new

    • Scents for the nose, stories for the mind

Rooted in our long-standing reverence for literature and our namesake Aesop—the ancient Greek fabulist—the inspirations and emotions behind our fragrances are distilled into fable-like poems to pose questions through scent.

    • The amber bottle, enhanced

While no story should be judged by its cover, the Fragrant Fables arrive in pleasingly tactile bottles, with a new textured cap inspired by basalt rock native to our home city of Melbourne, and an embossed insignia on the amber glass.

    How to Use

Apply as desired to wrists and neck. Throughout the day, the aromatic profile will develop—invigorating and crisp at first, then disclosing delicately spicy, green undertones. Layer with complementary Aesop hand and body care formulations to enhance the aroma.
